Lead Agency-STAND Against Domestic Violence |
The Violence Prevention Design Team Coordinates the "You Never Win With
Violence" program in the Mt. Diablo School
District.
We are one of the original collaborators in this program for 7th graders,
faculty, staff, and parents. The evaluations have shown reductions in
suspensions for violence at district schools.
Our role has been in instruction for faculty and staff, as well as the teen
parenting classes. We also recruit officers to co-facilitate the program in
the 7th grade classrooms.
A companion High School program is also coordinated by the team. |
